Meet Our Animal Staff Members

At Acacia Wellness Center We have Three Therapy Dogs on Staff
and Five Horses for the Equine Therapy Program.

Leonardo

Picture
Leonardo came to Acacia Wellness Center as a puppy. He captured the heart of the owner, Deo Peppersack, and can often be seen following her around the office or sitting at her feet. Leonardo does his best work with children who have ADHD or autism and adults who experience extreme depression and suicidal ideation.

Fergie

Picture
Fergie adopted Acacia Wellness Center shortly after Leonardo. Of the two she is often described as the “serious” schnauzer. Her independent and adorable self can be found guarding the employee bathroom or the front door of the center. Fergie does her best work with patients who are struggling with substance abuse or neurological symptoms such as seizure disorders or chronic pain.

Copper

Hope

Picture
Copper adopted Acacia Wellness Center in 2012 and has since become a beloved member of the family. He is known for his excellent hugs and high-fives. Copper enjoys working with clients from all ages and demographics and is an all around good boy.

Hope is the newest addition to the Acacia family. As a one-year-old Great Dane puppy, she is certainly keeping us on her toes! We are all excited to see how she grows and becomes more loving every day.
