hello this is paralee from A Treasured Life CFH. I believe that horses are excellent source of therapy for all ages, (I have a Horse story for you ) I had a horse myself .his name was Shadow. He was all black with a tiny white diamond where a blaze could have been. I had him for many years. he was a Spanish barb, I loved my horse dearly.he used to sneak up on me while I was eating black licorice.kick the edge of my car till I gave him a bite...well My neighbor had a very expensive cutting horse and a pack mule that was trained for mountaineering for lost cattle...well my neighbor moved away and took his horses with him,my horse became lonely so even though I loved my horse I couldn't stand to watch him stand at the I enjoyed brushing his hair and padding him and washing Hammond walking in and London him and a writing him when I felt up to it I was looking forward to enjoying the equine therapy with my two girls I feel bad that fence and pine for his horse friend. I called a lady I knew around my block who had a trail riding established company.she took in mustang and broke them for the trail riding famlies, and she took in unwanted and abused horses too. Mine was neither but never the less I did let him go. I went to visit a few times to see how my shadow was doing,he was very happy and usually had a child or teen on him. That was my first experience with equine therapy, my horse needed it and so did the down syndrom children who were around him... I remember trying hard not to cry that day but when I got to my car buckets flowed, partly cause I really missed that horse but most
